ATLANTA – Atlanta Housing (AH) today announced that Mayor Andre Dickens has appointed Matt M. Bronfman to the Atlanta Housing Board of Commissioners for a five-year term effective September 15, 2025.

Bronfman serves as Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Jamestown, where he oversees global operations and corporate strategy. Under his leadership, Jamestown has executed more than $40 billion in transactions and led the acquisition and repositioning of major mixed-use projects, including Chelsea Market and Industry City in New York, Ponce City Market and Buckhead Village in Atlanta, Raleigh Iron Works in Raleigh, the Innovation and Design Building in Boston, and Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco.

Bronfman joined Jamestown as General Counsel in 1998, became Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer in 2002, and was named CEO in 2012. He currently serves on the boards of the Jewish Federations of North America, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (past board chair), and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, and as President of the Jamestown Charitable Foundation’s board. He is a member of the Atlanta Committee for Progress and has previously served on numerous civic and industry boards. Bronfman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Tufts University and magna cum laude from Northwestern Law School.
