AH-OWNED COMMUNITIES

Atlanta Housing (AH) owns nine (9) public housing assisted residential communities, which consist of seven (7) senior high-rise communities and two (2) family communities. All communities provide safe, decent, and sanitary living conditions with a focus on quality living services for residents.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Waitlist for all AH-Owned communities will be closed effective October 1, 2021 and will reopen and remain open on December 1, 2021. This action supports the relocation efforts for the upcoming Hightower Manor Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) redevelopment.

AH MIXED AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE DEMONSTRATION (RAD) COMMUNITIES

Since 1995, Atlanta Housing has partnered with private sector developers, successfully developing AH-owned land into quality, mixed-use, mixed-income communities, incorporating over 4,000 affordable housing units with an economic impact exceeding $2 billion. AH’s MIXED and RAD Communities are rich in amenities, and many offer access to good schools, quality shopping, and more.

Atlanta Housing (AH) partners with private owners/developers to provide rental assistance for affordable housing residents living in these mixed-income mixed-finance communities. The rental assistance remains with the unit and is not transferrable with the resident. AH does not own these properties.
