As the year comes to a close, we are proud to reflect on another successful year of serving our families. Despite the continued challenges brought about by the pandemic, we’ve achieved a number of mission-centered wins—from providing emergency housing assistance to families impacted by the pandemic to certifying residents in high-earning, high-demand tech skills with our new DLA initiative. And as part of our mission to open doors to quality living, we’ve also been hard at work this year expanding and preserving equitable housing opportunities in the city.

As the city continues to experience progress and rapid growth, the creation of this affordable housing will be a pivotal step in preventing the displacement of Atlanta’s low- to moderate-income working families. Below is a recap of just some of our key housing developments completed or set in motion this year—along with previews of key affordable housing plans for 2022.
