In our ongoing pursuit to expand equitable housing opportunities in Atlanta, AH is proud to conclude the year with yet another major mission-centered achievement. With the Dec. 2, 2021 financial closing of Madison Reynoldstown, AH will begin development on this highly-anticipated property, which will bring 116 affordable multifamily units to the city within the high-demand BeltLine community.
Located at 872 Memorial Drive and immediately adjacent to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside trail extension, Madison Reynoldstown will offer families quality amenities and central access to entertainment facilities, retail shops, restaurants, a Publix grocery store, green spaces, and many job opportunities within walking distance of the Madison Yards development.
Consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, 100 percent of the 116 multifamily rental apartments will be deemed affordable for working families earning up to 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI); and through AH’s HomeFlex program, AH will provide subsidy to 46 of those units, which will be dedicated to working families earning up to 30 percent of the AMI.
In collaboration with Invest Atlanta, Atlanta Beltine, Inc., Department of Community Affairs, National Housing Trust Fund, City of Atlanta, and AH, the $43.6 million development combines various public and private funding sources. To view the official press release, click here.
