Georgia law allows AH to collect a reasonable charge for research, retrieval and other direct administrative costs for complying with a request. The administrative fee for document retrieval, review and copying is $15.00 per hour and copies are provided at 10¢ per page. The first quarter hour (15 minutes) of administrative time is provided at no charge. An invoice will be provided with the production of documents.
Please Note: All services must be pre-paid. Additional fees may apply for work done by an outside facility. AH only accepts payment by check. Please make all checks payable to: The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia
To avoid processing delays or loss of payment, please address the envelop and send payment to:

Please complete the selected online form in its entirety. All fields are required. Please provide as much detail as possible. AH will provide a response acknowledging the receipt of your request within three business days. The processing and receipt of the actual request will vary based on type of request and/or complexity (including but not limited to quantity and quality of records and/or materials).
PROGRAM PARTICIPANT FILES
I want to request a copy of my Atlanta Housing file.
An AH Program Current/Former Participant may request a copy of his/her program file. The person must be the current head of household or, if a former participant, the person must have been the latest head of household at the time of termination from the program.
I want to submit an Open Records Act Request.
The Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA §50-18-70 et seq.) provides that all public records, with the exception of those exempted from disclosure by court order or law, shall be open for personal inspection and copying. Atlanta Housing adheres to the code and makes non-exempt records available upon request.
I want to request a copy of an item that is contained in the Atlanta Housing Archives Collection or an item that is considered an archive.
The mission of the Archives is to preserve and provide permanent and historical materials that will assist in the operations of AH; to promote knowledge, research and understanding of the origins, functions, programs and goals of AH; and to collect archival materials that tell the story of AH.
