Open Records, Archives, and File Requests

Archives & Open Records Request Fees

Georgia law allows AH to collect a reasonable charge for research, retrieval, redaction, and other direct administrative costs for complying with a request. O.C.G.A § 50‐18‐70 (c)(1).The first quarter hour (15 minutes) of administrative time is provided at no charge. You will be notified of the total costs associated with your request prior to the production of documents.

Please Note: In some instances, the requestor's agreement to pay costs or prepayment of costs may be required prior to the agency's research, retrieval, redaction, review or production of the requested records. Additional fees may apply for work done by an outside facility. AH only accepts payment by check. Please make all checks payable to: The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia

PROGRAM PARTICIPANT FILES

I want to request a copy of my Atlanta Housing file.

Open Records

I want to submit an Open Records Act Request.

The Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA §50-18-70 et seq.) provides that all public records, with the exception of those exempted from disclosure by court order or law, shall be open for personal inspection and copying. Atlanta Housing adheres to the code and makes non-exempt records available upon request.
