Emergency Housing Vouchers can help you find a safe place to live and stay housed.
Availability is limited, and eligibility rules apply.
If you need help now, review the steps to see if this program is right for you.
How can I apply for an Emergency Housing Voucher?
Applications are not available through Atlanta Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is not open.
The availability of these vouchers is managed through a direct referral process. HUD is requiring referrals through the community’s coordinated entry system with priority given to those who are experiencing homelessness or at-risk of experiencing homelessness.
AH has partnered with the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC) for referrals to the Emergency Voucher Program. AH and the CoC have committed to administering the housing vouchers in accordance with program requirements identified by HUD.
How many Emergency Housing Vouchers were provided to Atlanta Housing?
The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta (AH) was allocated 202 emergency housing vouchers.
